DEB FILLER

"Magnificent... hilarious... to miss her would be madness." New Zealand Herald
"Consistently clever...extraordinary...tour de force." Philadelphia Enquirer
"I was laughing, crying, thinking, feeling...magnificent!" Boston Globe

Described alternatively as warm, gifted, a consummate performer and a complete chameleon, the New York Times says "she has turned to theatre, to writing, to art, in an effort to sort through the experience of growing up in a family with memories too terrible to speak of." Deb's comedic genius should leave no fan of Tracy Ullman or Lily Tomlin disappointed!

Please consider buying a block of seats for friends, charity, professional &/or social groups! (If you'd like to circulate this to friends & associates, I'll be happy to e-mail you a more forwardable-friendly flyer.)

A CALENDAR... In addition to being the subject of LEAVE THEM LAUGHING (a documentary by Academy Award director John Zaritsky) the beautiful, brilliant, sassy and brassy ALS stricken artist Carla Zilbersmith has (from her wheelchair and with virtually no use of her limbs) mastermided an amazing 2010 Calendar (ALS: Always Looking Sexy) featuring a courageous ALS-stricked individual each month (from teen years to seniors) in a pose from the movies. All proceeds are tax-deductible and support ALS research. Carla was interviewed this week by ABC TV in the Bay Area about this project. Take a look -- .ideal for reminding you of Parlor Performance dates! Additional information at: https://alwayslookingsexy2010.alscommunity.org/GroupSite/tabid/54/albumid/278/view/ViewAlbum/Default.aspx Says Carla: It's a funny, sexy, full of life, full of love calendar which will remind you each time you go to write down an appointment how unbearably lucky we all are to live on this beautiful planet. We'll have another screening of
LEAVE THEM LAUGHING (90 riveting minutes of songs and quips about life and death, from the wheelchair of a woman who vows to exit the stage with a smile on her beautiful face) in the early spring.

CLEVER CONVERSATION... Veteran radio host, Ira Fistell, is planning to re-launch his popular Bring 'Em Back Alive show on the Jewish Life Television Channel (JLTV). He's seeking actors and writers who would be comfortable participating in a 30-minute on air interview in the character of well-known personalities in the arts, science, literature, politics, etc. He has
taped two pilots (with Albert Einstein and Dorothy Parker). There will be compensation -- most likely AFTRA scale. The show is carried by Direct TV and Time Warner in many large cities, with a potential reach of 35-40 million viewers. Personalities already lined up are Ayn Rand, George Gershwin, Queen Elizabeth I, Clarence Darrow, Christopher Columbus, Margaret Sanger, Harry Houdini, and Abraham the Patriarch. The personalities must have a Jewish connection, either positive or negative. Please e-mail Jeannine with ideas, leads and questions!
