The Festival of New American Musicals

One show that I would like to bring your attention to is a workshop presentation of a wonderful musical entitled "I Married Wyatt Earp" that will be performed on Saturday, May 17th at 3pm and at 8pm. Location is the Brentwood Theater in West LA. I have seen a production of this piece and it is stirring and terrific. It's an all women cast that involves two older characters going back in time and sharing their experiences as young women living in the old West. Carol Lawrence and Carole Cook star, along with a stellar young cast. Did I mention it's a great show? And, by the way, the composer is Michele Brourman who lives here in Venice.

The tickets are free , you might want to include students who have interest in musical theater. We really want students to attend these performances as well. - Linda S
